Phra That Sri Song Rak
Located on the bank of the Man River, Phra That Sri Song Rak is a Lan Change-style pagoda. Built in the Ayutthaya period in 1560 AD to be a symbol of camaraderin between Ayutthaya and Sri Sattana Khanahut (Vientiane). It is worth a visit, especially during the annual celebration on the 13th-15th of the 6th lunar month.
Wat Neramitt Vipatsana
The temple sits majestically on a hillside just a short distance away from Phra That Sri Song Rak. The beautiful hall and pagoda were both constructed of laterite andwere the products of the imagination of monks and novices. A replica of Phutthachinnarat
is the main Buddha image here and there is a wax figure of the late Luang Pho Maha
Phan Sila Wisuttho who founded the temple.
